FIDELITY WITHOUT LIMITS
Anyone who knows our long-standing head of development, Kurt Scheuch, knows that he can neither rest on his laurels nor banish any exciting inspirations to the bottom drawer. When developing this high-end loudspeaker, the concept model for the Line Source arose.
These models enables all frequencies to be radiated as a coherent cylindrical sound wave – a principle for which the ribbon technology is ideally suited in application.
After many years of work and considerable development effort, the first Master Line Source loudspeaker was completed in 2013. A loudspeaker with absolute sound fidelity without limits. A perfectly synchronized festival for all the senses – or in other words: supreme musical authenticity.

COMPLEMENTING SUBWOOFER SYSTEM : PS 101
The PS 101 subwoofer was developed with special consideration for outstanding Hi-Fi acoustic qualities. That is why the highly efficient bass reflex design with two 22 cm LDB bass drivers was chosen (dual-opposed cofiguration). The drivers are state of the art and are remarkable for their extremely low-loss suspension and very rigid membrane, which functions as a piston. The very powerful drive ensures the correct Thiele / Small parameter, great efficiency, and low distortion.
The PS 101 is attractive because of its airy, extremely precise deep bass playback with fantastic dynamics and perfect impulse reproduction. This is particularly important during music playback, allowing a great combination with even the highest-quality PIEGA Hi-Fi loudspeakers.
The simple cubic design in elegant aluminium allows the subwoofer to remain integrated and inconspicuous in a wide variety of environments. What is not inconspicuous at all is its powerful sound that stands up to both challenging music and home cinema operation.
Configure PS 101 as boundary reinforcement anchors, reconstructing lower octave signals lost over transmission, and as low frequency effects transducers.
LINE SOURCE RIBBONS
The Line Source ribbons are designed with a linear source. This enables several of these ribbon-systems to be cascaded in line vertically in the loudspeaker to form a genuine line source. The Line source drivers are also designed as dipoles and thus enable a unique enables a unique authenticity in the sound reproduction.
HANDCRAFTED
The Master Line Source, Master Line Source 2 and 3 have a unique design and are hand crafted down to the smallest detail. The building of a Master loudspeaker requires up to two weeks of unimaginably careful manual work. This is followed by proper testing and sound tuning before the loudspeaker can leave our production facility.
